Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of theeyeofdesign.com and all services provided by theeyeofdesign. By placing an order you agree to these Terms in full.
1. About
theeyeofdesign is a design studio based in Gretna, Louisiana, USA. We provide art direction, visual branding, publication design, digital design, illustration, and print collateral services. All services are delivered digitally.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract. By ordering, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Services and Scope
Service scope is described on our website and confirmed at project kick-off. We document the agreed scope in writing before work starts. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our capability or professional standards. All services are delivered digitally: no physical goods are produced or shipped.
4. Payment
Full payment is required at time of order via Stripe. Work begins within 2 business days of confirmed payment. Prices are in USD. Taxes may apply based on applicable state and local law.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate brief information; respond to feedback requests within 5 business days; supply required materials on schedule; and designate a single point of contact. Delays caused by late provision may affect delivery timelines without qualifying for compensation.
6. Revisions
Essentials includes 2 revision rounds; Studio includes 4; Atelier includes unlimited rounds within scope. Additional revisions are billed at $38.75/hr with prior written agreement. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback submitted at one time.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all final design deliverables become your property with full commercial rights. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you request confidentiality in writing before project closure. Source files and working documents remain our property unless specifically included in the project scope.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Disputes are subject to the courts of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
